How to Measure for Correct Size
The Womens Move Short has a relaxed, generous fit. Fitted at the waist, flaring over the hips and butt with great room through the legs. These shorts finish above the knee.
To get the right size you need to know your waist & hip measurements.
WAIST MEASUREMENT
Take your waist measurement at the natural crease line of your waist. Stand straight with your hands at your side. Bend sideways running your hand down your leg. This movement will produce a crease at the waist.
Return to standing and wrap the measuring tape horizontally around your body at this crease line.
HIP MEASUREMENT
Find the widest point of your hip region (usually 18-23cm down from your wiast line). This position will be unique to your body.
At the wide hip point wrap the tape horizontally around your body.

Tips for Measuring
- Use a flexible measuring tape (if you don’t have a measuring tape use string and then lay the string along a ruler to find your measurement).
- For an accurate measurement
- the measuring tape should sit snug next to your skin.
- do not measure over bulky clothing.
- make sure the tape is level around your body… to achieve this, get help or measure in front of a mirror.

Correct Size for your Height
Once you know your size you can check the finished length of the shorts on your body. The finished length for these shorts is taken from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the cuff running down the length of the shorts at the side seam.
FINISHED LENGTH MEASUREMENT
In the table below the finished lengths of the pants are shown in centrimetres (cm) for each size. Find the finished length for the size you have chosen.
Check this length on your body by placing the start of the tape measure where you image the top of the waistband would sit at the side of your body. Let the tape hang down the length of your body. Find the finished length on the tape measure, noting where this is on your body.
You may need help for this measurement as you will need to stand straight to get an accurate measurement. Or you can mark your tape measure at the finished length and use a mirror.

Common Questions
I measure between sizes.
Our clothing has a relaxed fit and uses stretch fabric meaning there is a lot of space in the design. If you like your pants to be roomy go up a size otherwise choose the smaller size. If only one of your measurements is between sizes be guided by the measurement that fits within a size.
My hip & waist measurements are different sizes.
We recommend going with the larger of the two sizes you measure at.
I don't like the finished length measurement for my size.
Find the length you would prefer and check which size this matches to. Going up or down one size is worth a try but will change the fit of the pants giving you more or less room. For any large changes in length we would recommend looking at a different style of pant.
