How to measure
Tips for Measuring
- Use a flexible measuring tape (if you don’t have a measuring tape use string and then measure against a ruler)
- For an accurate measurement – the measuring tape should sit snug next to your skin.
- Make sure the tape is level around your body…to achieve this, get help or measure in front of a mirror.
Movement Tops and Pants
To purchase a movement top and/or pants that fits you, you will need to measure around your body at your chest, waist and hips.
Chest – Around the fullest part of your bust/chest
Waist – Around the narrowest part of your mid region
Hips – Around the fullest part of your bottom and thighs
The exact position of your measurement will be unique to your body and will depend where your fullest or narrowest part is.
Movement Underwear
To purchase underwear that fit you, you will need to measure around your body at your waist and your hips.
Waist – Around your body at the crease line when you bend sideways
Hips – Around your body
- For Adults – 18cm down from your waist.
- For Kids – 12 cm down from your waist.
